These pictures really speak for themselves.  I do love the girl in the middle of the circle in the “official” chicken dance headdress.

I love the littlest chicken dancer of all in the green shirt! She was absopresh!

After all this dancing, we needed some nourishment, so we headed over to the VFW for the famous chicken and spaghetti dinner. This is what you get for $12.
Chicken and Spagetti“>
A whole half a chicken and enough spaghetti to feed an army. What a bargain! Once we were full, we decided to head back to the ranch. The men headed out to the deck.  The man party went late into the The Man Party“>
evening.  Many stories were told, some of them were even new.  Much fun was had by all.  I promised you some knitting content, I was able to finish one dragonfly sock over the long weekend and make significant progress on the second sock.

And here is a cute picture of Simon hanging out in my yarn stash. He quickly decided the empty drawers were much more fun to play in.

Looks like a lot of fun – and that is a huge amount of food!

Simon almost blends in with some of that yarn!

That is the yarn for my “Perfect Sweater”. It is a goregous tweedy orangy/yellow wool by Cascade. That project has drifted way to the back of my list, but when I get in the mood, I’m ready to go.
